CHALICE ZOOM GROUP STARTS SEPTEMBER 28
A Chalice Zoom Group will begin on September 28 and continue every two weeks for six sessions. A Chalice Group is a gathering of members and friends who are given specific assignments to think about. They then share deeply and confidentially at meetings. Past groups have tackled such themes as Success and Failure, Gratitude, Forgiveness, Sustainable Living, and Addiction, to name a few. This fall’s themes will be chosen to have timely impact on our world situation.
Chalice Zoom Groups will be facilitated by Mark Neiwirth, who pioneered the format during his 5-year tenure as Administrative Dean of the Russell Lockwood Leadership School. A group is limited to six people, and will meet on Monday evenings at 6:30-8:00 p.m. Sept. 28, Oct. 12 and 26, Nov. 9 and 23, and concluding on Dec. 7. It is open to members and non-members alike. Please contact Mark by emailing email@example.com if you are interested or have questions.

LONG STRANGE TRIP
A Long Strange Trip (not the 1970s Grateful Dead reference) is a documentary series on DVD, all about Unitarians, Universalists, and Unitarian Universalists!
This six-part series (seven, since we’re including a bonus film at the end!) will be offered “Watch Party” style via Zoom, each episode with two viewing options. As UUs today, we are part of this long strange trip ourselves, from 2000 years ago and the birth of liberal religion, to humanism, and onto our present-day faith grounded by our commitment to make a better world together. So come, learn about you! And U, and U, and UU, too. Zoom links will be available on our website or via email updates closer to time. To see the complete planned program click here.
