Learning Through the Lifespan

We provide children, youth, and adults an opportunity to explore, reflect, and learn in a nurturing spiritual community. Unitarian Universalist religious education programs offer all ages, inspiring learning:

  • Ethical growth – internalizing enduring values like justice, equity, and compassion, and gaining tools to act on them in everyday life.
  • Social growth – connecting with peers and people of all ages on a deeper level. Finding acceptance among people who see beyond the superficial.
  • Spiritual growth – feeling a connection with the sacred within, among, and beyond us.

Children are welcome in all our Sunday worship services (1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays at 4:00 p.m.). Kids, make sure you and your parents pick up a learning packet on your way into the service. Toward the end of the service, children and parents are invited to gather for a few minutes of discussion before the potluck or Linger Longer.

Youth and adults are welcome in our Sunday Religious Exploration sessions (2nd and 4th Sundays at 4:00 p.m.). These lay-led discussion sessions cover a wide variety of spiritual and social justice issues.

Lifelong Intellectual and Spiritual Development

As Unitarian Universalists, we embrace the lifelong search for truth and
meaning. We have a number of opportunities for adults to gather in small
groups or educational class settings to continue learning, sharing and
enriching each others lives.

We seek to understand other religions and to celebrate the ideas brought to
the world by other cultures and religious practices. We encourage tolerance
for ideas and people that are different from our own experience. We want to
provide opportunities for personal theology and allow for individual growth and
diversity.

We want to explore our social responsibilities and increase consciousness in
our community. Together, we can make a difference in this world!

The UUA provides additional information and materials for adult faith development programs.
