Summer Service

Summer Series begins – This Summer Series will include short services with time for quiet reflection, sharing on the day’s topic, and perhaps some music. No more than 40 minutes in length, our Summer Series will each conclude with our “Linger Longer” light refreshments. Let’s enjoy our summer, in Fellowship!

Sunday Service – Faith of Uncertainty

“This Faith of Uncertainty” – Where so many traditions seek absolute answers, Unitarian Universalism embraces questions over answers, reason tempered with wonder and reverence. Come, enjoy this reflective service of embracing the unknowable as a source of inspiration.

Religious Exploration – Florence Nightingale

Florence Nightingale is remembered for providing compassionate nursing care including improving sanitary conditions during the Crimean war. She was responsible for the hospital reform that gives us the sanitary conditions we have today. Her social activism and radical theology was typical of other Unitarian Universalists, and included work on women’s rights.
