Religious Exploration – Florence Nightingale

Florence Nightingale is remembered for the work she did providing compassionate nursing care including improving sanitary conditions during the Crimean war. She was responsible for the hospital reform that gives us the sanitary conditions we have today. Her social activism and radical theology was typical of other Unitarians, and included work on women’s rights.
