Each workshop begins with a short period called Reentry and Reading (R&R), which includes discussions of the time and experiences between sessions, a time to answer anonymous questions, and a reading to introduce that weeks topic. This is meant to help bring participants back in to a mindset appropriate for making the upcoming group’s session as beneficial as possible. It is mirrored by a period at the end of the workshop called Reflection and Planning, with the opportunity for participants to think about how that workshop may be applied within their lives, and sometimes may include an optional task to complete outside outside the group.
